This is the real map i work for THQ in saints row 2 the map was truly small it was not as big as you think i could drive across the whole map in 5 mins besides the jail and the nuclear power plant this is bigger than stillwater but sadly to say theres no airport there will be cribs where you can store planes we really tried to make it 2000x better than saints row 2 the reason why we didnt put an airport is because it takes up way to much space in saints row 2 we make it not lag really badly at the airport by making the planes that land instantaneously crashes. The point im trying to make is saints row 3 is bigger than stillwater and theres less lag

SR3 takes place in Steelport, a new city with lots of industrial factories and businesses. It is not New York or GTA IV's map. , as the left island and the center island is split into two and the right island is small. The left island provides small commerical business, docks and warehouse businesses, and a nuclear reactor. The bottom left is a casino, club, etc. business area. The center is like the main city area. The right island is like the prositution and club business area, and their's a statue and a STAG (high tech paramilitary) ship, the Thermopylae, in the bottom. Oh, and one of those islands become inhabited by zombies later on in the game.
